Our goal was a condensed opening sequence that would adapt to each of the eight episodes. In the end, we decided to use silhouette elements - scissors cutting is a well-known craft in the Black Forest. We illustrated one big scene with clues to each episode, so the 8 titles varied by revealing small details hidden as deadly easter eggs.
A title sequence for a dark, grotesque but also funny series about a killer who wreaks havoc in the beautiful "Black Forest"..." The guys from Studio Zentral and Marc O.Seng asked us to create the titles for their collaboration.
The opening credits had to grab the viewer's attention and set the mood for each episode without giving away the plot.We climbed to the top of the mountain and into its dark valley on a long journey of possible ideas.
